Did come with instructions but difficult to understand so it was a bit of experimenting. Took 5 attempts to get the fuel drawn up to the heater but then it fired up and heat came out! Either idle the vehicle's engine if you have a battery combiner, or connect a battery charger from shore or generator to your house bank, and try to start the heater multiple times, on the lowest heat setting (so as not to flood the heater even more).
