Of course the return policy at Amazon ran out a day before I found this problem because everything was running great. I contacted ASUS support and what they suggest is the following: 1. Web1 apr. 2024 · I've just installed an MSI PRO Z690-A WIFI DDR4 and Intel Core i7-12700KF. However, my M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD isn't recognized by the BIOS (or Windows) no matter what I do. I've tried placing it on each of the four slots available on the motherboard to no avail. I've also updated the BIOS to the latest version and that didn't help either. Yep, I've done that multiple times and the ssd only gets warm but doesn't show up in disk utility. Unfortunately the other macbooks that I have is the 2024 air and the 12"macbook and those two cannot fit the drive in.
