IMO, it's not going to be until around Nvidia's RTX 5000 / AMD's RX 8000 series GPUs that ray-tracing actually becomes practical to regularly enable. Until then, it's a interesting novelty but not much better than a glorified gimmick in real-world use. The 1600s don’t have the RTX hardware, or at the very least they have it severed (either physically or through firmware). Zero tensor cores, zero RT cores. A GTX 1660 will not work. Any "workarounds" you try will only cause problems with either the game or your video card. Also, for those wondering, yes you can test the new ray tracing on the PTR.
